Hi everyone....Last week was a busy week so I haven't had a chance to post until now.....went to LA for a few days to visit my sis in law and family. It was a fun trip, went to the Santa Monica pier, the Hollywood sign, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theater, and the grove shopping mall. At the Santa Monica pier, I played "Whack a Mole" and won this cute pink "Domo" doll which you'll see in the pics. My husband and I rode the famous ferris wheel which was a lot of fun and played some arcade games. The weather was great and the views were amazing. There happened to be a movie premiere for Panda 2 going on on Hollywood Boulevard, so the street was really crowded...pretty crazy! The Hollywood Walk of Fame is pretty cool...took pics of some celebrity stars....the Beatles, Elvis, Regis etc.... So the headbands that I'm wearing in these pics are both by Colette Malouf. The first one is a band with seashells and pink beads and crystals. So great for summer!! Perfect for a beach party, weekend trip etc. The second band is a bright blue headband with a wire flower. Great for a casual look which I am sporting or even with a more dressy outfit!!
Now for the more exciting part of this entry....I have designed four new headbands!! Yay :)
These pics were taken today in Prospect Park, right near my apartment! The first one is a cotton fabric headband decorated with a patterned fabric flower, with semi precious stones in the center and sequin trim. The colors of this headband make it perfect for summer!!
The next headband is a cotton fabric band decorated with an ivory flower with copper colored semiprecious stones and a brass design in the center.
Next, is a green beaded band with wire overlapping and a fabric tie in the back...I love the color of these beads, and this band is perfect to wear with a more casual outfit.
Next I have designed an iridescent beaded band with leaves and wire decoration. This is a great band to wear when going out at night!!
